Lunch & Learn
Sharing expertise with the indie dev communityWhat is a Lunch & Learn?
Aimed at the professional game development community, GamePlay Space’s Lunch & Learns are learning sessions to help members remain cutting edge in the industry. Our classroom holds up to 40 participants, and the room fills up, depending on the topic and level of interest. Note, these cannot be used as a hard sales pitch.
The goal is for you to easily connect with the indie dev community and share your knowledge, product/service updates, and expertise. Sessions can be about new tech, tools, or services and are an opportunity to share, critical updates or best practices.
Here are examples of past editions:
- An Introduction to Nakama – the open-source distributed server for realtime games
- Budgeting & Accounting for CMF Applications
- Discover UK and Nordic Opportunities
- Games & Marketing: Simple Steps for Complex Issues
- Maximize your Mobile Metrics – through Better Community Management!
Where and when does it take place?
Every second and last Wednesday of the month at GamePlay Space from 12:30 to 1:30pm!
How does it work?
The fee to host a Lunch & Learn is CAD$500.
GamePlay Space takes care of all logistics and promotional efforts (e.g. EventBrite, Facebook event, Twitter post, etc.) and fires it off to our members along with the community at large.
There is also the optional (but highly recommended) cost of ordering lunch for the attendees (final cost will be dependent on the number of RSVPs).
You bring the content, we’ll bring the community!
