Last night, one of our member studios Hyroglyphik Games took home the Independent Game Award at the 2018 NUMIX Awards for their game King of the Hat. We couldn’t be more proud of them!
For those unfamiliar, King of the Hat is a multiplayer game where your hat is your weapon, but also your weakness. Throw your hat, risk your life, but be careful because if someone jumps on it, you die. Look for it on multiple platforms within the next year… but you should really join their Discord for updates!

Red Barrels took home the Large Scale Game Award for Outlast 2.
Another studio out of GPS, Ululab, scored a nomination in the Family & Kids Game category for their mobile game, Slice Fractions 2. You can find it in the App Store if you want to practice your fractions! Triple Boris took home the prize for Tiny Derby.
A big thank you to our partner, Loto-Quebec, who provided the $5000 cash prize to the indie category. To read more about the other winners and nominees, visit the NUMIX Awards website.
