Following the latest announcements and recommendations from the government officials, we wanted to take a moment to inform you of the situation for GamePlay Space.
First of all, know that our priority is to protect our employees and maintain our services for our members at this time while limiting the spread of the virus.
We have therefore implemented a work continuity policy for our employees so that working remotely is favored. None of us has recently traveled outside of Canada, however, we are taking many precautions and being extra vigilant to ensure the health and well-being of our employees.
However, we do not plan to close GamePlay Space unless there is a change in future recommendations from the government officials and Health Canada. The space will remain open and accessible for its members (full and part-time members only). As of today, until further notice, people with a day pass (drop-in) and visitors will not be allowed inside the space. In addition, all events organized by members and partners of the space are postponed until further notice.
Thereon, we regret to inform you that the March Playtesting, which was scheduled for March 26, has been cancelled.
The situation continues to evolve rapidly and we will continue to follow the guidelines and protocols put forward by public health officials. We will make sure to revise our policies as necessary following the given recommendations.
We will keep you informed of all new information and decisions affecting GamePlay Space. If you have any questions or concerns, please write to us and someone from our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
